A word on stamps—please be aware that a typical, lower priced magazine in our store (e.g., $4.99) is going to cost $13.00, including $7.00 shipping and $1.00 handling (per item). This equals 43 stamps. Therefore, we require prepaid accounts opened with stamps to be set up with a minimum of fifty (50) stamps. Also—single stamps are a bookkeeping nightmare; therefore, single stamps are accepted at 50% face value.

We use stamps for our mailings; otherwise, we have to convert them to cash using the same services available to inmates, and at the same rate. We would like to be more generous with the percentage, but our employees, landlord, and distributors do not accept stamps as payment.
